ANALISIS PEDAGOGICAL CONTENT KNOWLEDGE (PCK) GURU MATEMATIKA DAN PRAKTIK PEMBELAJARANNYA

Abstract


Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK), dikenalkan pertama kali oleh Lee Shulman pada tahun 1986. PCK terdiri dari 2 bagian besar yaitu Pedagogical Knowledge (Pengetahuan Pedagogis/kompetensi pedagogis) dan Content Knowledge (Pengetahua Konten/kompetensi profesional). Penelitian sebelumnya lebih banyak mengkaji tentang pengetahuan guru saja dan masih sedikit yang mengkaitkannya dengan praktik pembelajaran guru di kelas. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini akan menganalisis PCK yang dikaitkan dengan praktik pembelajaran di kelas yang disebut dengan Pedagogical Content Practice (PCP). Secara sederhana PCP didefinisikan dengan praktik mengajar guru yang disesuaikan dengan PCK-nya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hubungan antara PCK dengan PCP guru. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah 3 guru (dengan variasi lama mengajar yang berbeda). Hasil dari penelitian ini secara umum adalah: (1) guru pertama menunjukkan PCK dan PCP yang cukup; (2) guru kedua menunjukkan PCK dan PCP yang baik; (3) sedangkan guru ketiga juga menunjukkan PCK dan PCP yang baik.
