Pembuatan Aplikasi Berbasis Augmented Reality sebagai Media Edukasi Virus secara Atraktif dan Interaktif

Abstract


Wabah suatu virus secara cepat dan masih mewujudkan dampak yang beragam di setiap aspek kehidupan manusia. Beragam kebijakan sebagai upaya preventif terhadap dampak negatif wabah virus dilakukan seperti vaksinasi, pembatasan sosial, dan edukasi protokol kesehatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menerapkan augmented reality sebagai media edukasi terkait struktur virus dan protokol kesehatan berdasarkan kepustakaan ilmiah secara atraktif dan interaktif. Proses penelitian dilakukan melalui metode Multimedia Development Life Cycle yang terdiri dari tahapan: penentuan konsep; perancangan; pengumpulan materi; pembuatan; pengujian; dan pendistribusian hasil aplikasi. Proses pengujian aplikasi dilakukan melalui pendekatan uji pendeteksian marker dan user acceptance test. Penelitian ini berhasil membuat aplikasi berbasis teknologi augmented reality sebagai media edukasi dalam bentuk objek virtual tiga dimensi. Pengujian yang dilakukan oleh pihak ahli medis berhasil mengidentifikasi kelayakan aplikasi sebagai media edukasi. Pengujian pendeteksian marker juga berhasil mengidentifikasi penggunaan aplikasi secara optimal berdasarkan jarak baca mulai150 cm sampai 9 cm, sudut baca mulai 90o sampai 16o, dan persentase luas permukaan marker terhalang tidak lebih dari 65%.
