ANALISIS PERAN GROWTH MINDSET TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR ANALITIS SISWA PADA PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA

Abstract


Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengkaji hubungan growth mindset terhadap keterampilan berpikir analitis siswa dalam proses belajar matematika.. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif korelasional dengan subjek 30 siswa kelas XI MAN 2 Kerinci. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket growth mindset dan tes kemampuan berpikir analitis berdasarkan indikator differentiating, organizing, dan attributing. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa 90% siswa memiliki growth mindset dalam kategori tinggi, namun hanya 40% yang menunjukkan kemampuan berpikir analitis sangat baik. Uji korelasi Pearson menghasilkan nilai r = 0,063 dengan p-value 0,74, menandakan tidak adanya hubungan signifikan antara growth mindset dan kemampuan berpikir analitis. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa meskipun growth mindset penting untuk membangun motivasi dan ketahanan belajar, namun peningkatan kemampuan berpikir analitis tetap memerlukan intervensi pembelajaran yang tepat, seperti pendekatan kontekstual dan berbasis masalah
