Analisis Pengaruh Protokol WPA2 dan WPA3 Terhadap Stabilitas dan Kinerja Jaringan dalam Game Online (Valorant))

Abstract


Perkembangan jaringan nirkabel yang semakin maju membawa kemudahan dalam mengakses internet. Namun, di balik kemudahan tersebut, terdapat ancaman terhadap keamanan jaringan yang menimbulkan keresahan bagi pengguna. Di sisi lain, jaringan nirkabel juga dimanfaatkan untuk aktivitas positif seperti bermain game. Dalam konteks bermain game online, performa jaringan yang baik sangat penting untuk memberikan pengalaman bermain yang nyaman. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan informasi mengenai pengaruh protokol jaringan terhadap performa jaringan nirkabel dalam aktivitas bermain game online. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode PPDIOO (Prepare, Plan, Design, Implement, Operate, Optimize), yang membagi proses penelitian ke dalam beberapa aspek sehingga memudahkan pembaca dalam memahami hasil yang disajikan. Keberhasilan penelitian ini ditunjukan melalui hasil pengujian dan dokumentasi tangkapan layar, yang memperlihatkan bahwa protokol WPA3 memberikan pengaruh positif terhdap performa jaringan, serta meningkatkan kenyamanan dan stabilitas saat bermain game. Selain itu, efektivitas protokol WPA3 juga bergantung pada dukungan perangkat lunak yang kompatibel. Berdasarkan perbandingan antara WPA2 dan WPA3, dapat disimpulkan bahwa WPA3 lebih efektif untuk digunakan dalam aktivitas bermain game online karena menunjukan kinerja dan stabilitas jaringan yang lebih baik.
