Peer Review Process

All submitted manuscripts are read by the editor. Manuscripts opposed by the editor that do not meet the journal's criteria will be immediately rejected if there is no external party. Submitted manuscripts will be reviewed by reviewers according to their field of expertise. The first reviewer's recommendation will be the Editor's main priority in making publishing decisions. The editor will send an email to prospective reviewers asking for their willingness to review the manuscript. If the prospective reviewer agrees, the editor will send the manuscript to the reviewer via the OJS website. The review process is carried out in person. The reviewer does not know the identity of the author and the author does not know the identity of the reviewer (blind review).
The editor then makes a decision based on the reviewer's recommendations from several possibilities: rejected, needs major revisions, needs minor revisions, or accepted.

The Editor in Chief of the Journal of Economic Education (Jupeko) has the right to decide which manuscripts submitted to the journal should be published.
