THE EFFECT OF PROBLEM-BASED LEARNING THROUGH ANIMATED VIDEOS ON STUDENTS' INTEREST IN LEARNING SCIENCE AT SD INPRES 2 BESUSU

Abstract


This study aims to determine the effect of the application of the Problem Based Learning model assisted by animated video media on the learning interest of fifth-grade students of SD Inpres 2 Besusu. The low interest in learning is caused by learning that is still dominated by conventional methods and the lack of use of interesting media. Animated video media is considered capable of increasing learning interest because it presents material visually and contextually. This study uses a quantitative approach with an experimental design method of one group pre-test and post-test. The research subjects were 25 students. The data were analyzed using a paired sample t-test and showed a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) <0.05, so the Problem Based Learning model assisted by animated video media has a significant effect on increasing students' learning interest.
