Abstract

Digital transformation in the Society 5.0 era requires the world of education to improve student’s academic competence and equip them with digital literacy and cybersecurity awareness. This study aims to develop ‘CyberBeat’ audio music-based learning media as a feasible and practical for highschool students in Informatics subjects related to digital security. This study uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model. Data were collected using questionnaires and feedback forms. The data analysis in this study used two main approaches, validity analysis and practicality analysis of the ‘CyberBeat’ media. This media integrates musical elements with relevant content on digital security, arranged in a systematic structure that includes an intro, verse, chorus, bridge, and outro, to strengthen students' understanding. Validation test by expert media and material ensures that this media is effective for use in computer science education. Practicality test results show that ‘CyberBeat’ is highly effective, interactive, and enjoyable, and is able to create an engaging and accessible learning experience for students. This media has succeeded in increasing students' awareness of the importance of maintaining digital security in their daily activities. The diversification of its design could be pursued, thereby enhancing its adaptability to diverse academic disciplines, with the objective of broadening its impact and applicability across a range of learning environments.
