PEMBUATAN GAME MOBILE “GROCERY RUN” UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN KOGNITIF ANAK

Abstract


Kurangnya keterlibatan yang menarik dalam game edukasi menjadi tantangan dalam melatih kemampuan kognitif seperti working memory dan konsentrasi pada anak usia sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun game edukasi “Grocery Run” menggunakan metode Game Development Life Cycle (GDLC). Metod-ologi ini mencakup tahap produksi, alpha testing untuk validasi kuali-tas, dan beta testing kuantitatif dengan 20 responden menggunakan kuesioner System Usability Scale (SUS) dan Single Ease Question (SEQ). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa game berhasil dikem-bangkan dengan fungsionalitas penuh. Pengujian alpha testing pada kualitas media (skor 4,59), materi (4,82), dan bahasa (4,69) menunjuk-kan kategori 'sangat baik'. Hasil beta testing menghasilkan skor SUS rata-rata 72,88, yang mengindikasikan tingkat kegunaan 'Baik' (Good) dan diterima oleh pengguna. Selain itu, skor SEQ rata-rata 5,62 (per-ingkat persentil ke-75) menunjukkan bahwa tugas-tugas dalam game mudah untuk diselesaikan. Simpulannya, game “Grocery Run” terbukti menjadi alat yang efektif dan dapat diterima dengan baik untuk melatih working memory dan konsentrasi anak, dengan tingkat kegunaan dan kemudahan penggunaan yang tinggi.
