Penerapan Cloud Computing Untuk Mendukung Deployment Dan Skalabilitas Aplikasi Penerjemah Bahasa Isyarat

Abstract


Penerapan komputasi awan (cloud computing) telah menjadi solusi efektif dalam mendukung pengembangan dan penerapan aplikasi yang membutuhkan fleksibilitas dan skalabilitas tinggi, seperti aplikasi penerjemah bahasa isyarat. Penelitian ini membahas bagaimana penerapan teknologi cloud computing dapat mendukung proses deployment serta peningkatan skalabilitas aplikasi penerjemah bahasa isyarat secara real-time. Cloud computing memungkinkan pengelolaan sumber daya komputasi yang lebih efisien, termasuk penyimpanan, daya komputasi, dan kemampuan pemrosesan data yang besar. Aplikasi ini diharapkan dapat menangani permintaan yang tinggi dari pengguna secara simultan tanpa mengorbankan performa. Dalam studi ini, dilakukan implementasi aplikasi penerjemah bahasa isyarat menggunakan layanan cloud seperti Platform as a Service (PaaS) dan Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) dari Google Cloud. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa API autentikasi memiliki performa terbaik dengan waktu respons stabil di kisaran 120 ms, yang diasumsikan terjadi karena kompleksitas prosesnya lebih rendah dibanding API model bahasa isyarat. Sebaliknya, API model bahasa isyarat mengalami peningkatan latensi hingga 600 ms saat menangani 1000 permintaan simultan, dan mulai menunjukkan penurunan performa ketika mencapai 5000 request per menit akibat beban CPU yang tinggi sebelum proses auto-scaling aktif. Kesimpulannya, penerapan komputasi awan memberikan solusi yang optimal untuk mendukung aplikasi penerjemah bahasa isyarat, terutama dalam hal fleksibilitas, efisiensi, dan skalabilitas.
