INTEGRASI PEMBELAJARAN SOSIAL DAN EMOSIONAL DALAM MEDIA GOOGLE SITES UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KOLABORASI DAN KREATIVITAS SISWA SMP MATERI ZAT DAN PERUBAHANNYA

Abstract


Dalam abad ke-21, pembelajaran IPA dituntut untuk menaikkan tingkat keterampilan kolaborasi serta kreativitas peserta didik, yang didukung oleh kompetensi sosial dan emosional mereka. Namun, penerapan pembelajaran IPA di sekolah seringkali berfokus pada aspek kognitif dan belum secara sistematis mengintegrasikan pembelajaran sosial dan emosional (PSE) melalui media digital. Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan untuk mengembangkan serta menguji media pembelajaran berbasis Google Sites yang terintegrasi PSE dengan model pertanyaan pada materi Zat dan Perubahan. Untuk penelitian ini, metode penelitian serta pengembangan (R&D) ini mempergunakan model Four-D, yang mencakup tahapan definisi, desain, pengembangan, serta penyebaran. Siswa SMP kelas VII, guru IPA, ahli media, serta ahli materi adalah subjek penelitian. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes kreativitas, angket respons guru dan siswa, lembar validasi, dan pengamatan keterampilan kolaborasi. Semua ini dilakukan dengan desain quasi eksperiment pretest-posttest control group. Data diperiksa dengan statistik deskriptif serta inferensial. Temuan ini memperlihatkan bahwasanya media pembelajaran yang terintegrasi dengan Google Sites PSE dinyatakan sangat layak dan sangat praktis. Menurut uji efektivitas, siswa menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan kolaborasi dalam kategori efek besar (d = 3,44) dan peningkatan kreativitas dalam kategori efek rendah namun dengan kecenderungan positif (d = 0,25). Oleh karenanya, media pembelajaran yang diintegrasikan melalui Google Sites dan PSE layak untuk digunakan sebagai alternatif untuk pembelajaran IPA.
