RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN FAMILY SUPPORT, SELF-EFFICACY, AND MOTIVATION WITH BIOLOGY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF GRADE XI STUDENTS IN JENEPONTO

Abstract


Family is a supporter in supporting the success of children, but based on the facts in the field, many students have low biology learning outcomes, especially in high schools in Jeneponto district. In addition, it is not uncommon to find students who drop out of school due to the rise of early marriage, which affects students' self-confidence and learning motivation, which ultimately has an impact on the achievement of student outcomes. The purpose of this study was to examine how the relationship between family support, self-efficacy, and motivation with biology learning outcomes of students, especially in class XI of State Senior High Schools in Jeneponto Regency based on correlational (ex-post facto) zoning using path analysis design. The results of these findings indicate that family support, self-efficacy, student learning motivation are included in the moderate category, and learning outcomes are included in the good category. Furthermore, from the results of hypothesis testing using path analysis, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between family support, self-efficacy, learning motivation with learning outcomes of class XI students of State Senior High Schools in Jeneponto Regency seen from the sig. value. 0.000 < 0.05, which effectively contributed 84.5% to biology learning outcomes.
