PENGARUH MODEL PBL BERBANTUAN MEDIA INTERAKTIF DALAM PEMBELAJARAN DIGITAL TERHADAP LITERASI SAINS SISWA PADA MATERI SUHU DAN KALOR TURE AND HEAT MATERIALS
Abstract
This study aims to explore the effect of implementing the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model, reinforced by the use of interactive media, on students' science literacy skills in understanding temperature and heat material at SMP Negeri 1 Dungaliyo. In this study, the researcher employed a quasi-experimental approach. The research subjects involved two different learning groups, namely the treatment group, which studied the material by applying the PBL model assisted by interactive media, while the comparison group continued to use conventional learning methods. The research design used was a Posttest Only Control Group Design. As a data collection tool, the researcher compiled a science literacy test in the form of a description tailored to the three science literacy indicators outlined in the OECD framework through the 2022 PISA assessment. Data analysis techniques included normality tests, homogeneity tests, and Independent Samples t-tests. The findings of this study reveal that the PBL model equipped with interactive media has a significant effect on students' science literacy. The treatment group achieved an average science literacy score of 71.69, while the control group only achieved an average of 40.17, with a significance value of 0.000, which is less than 0.05. Based on these results, it can be concluded that this learning model is proven to be effective in helping students master scientific concepts, design research processes, and analyze data scientifically.
